Our safari journey to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru commences from Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi! Our first stop is Lake Nakuru National Park, accessible via the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, passing by the enchanting Lake Naivasha and Lake Elmenteita.
At Lake Nakuru Lodge, our cozy overnight accommodation awaits, along with a delightful lunch. In the afternoon, we embark on a thrilling game drive through the park, offering a splendid opportunity to witness the rich variety of birdlife, including thousands of pink flamingos. The park is also renowned as the largest sanctuary for rhinoceros in Kenya, providing ample chances for rhino sightings.
Moreover, we have the opportunity to spot buffalo, giraffe, waterbuck, leopards, pythons, lions, zebras, and baboons. Upon concluding the game drive, we return to Lake Nakuru Safari Lodge, where a refreshing swimming pool awaits our leisure, followed by a delectable buffet dinner.

Upon returning to the safari lodge, we refreshed ourselves with a rejuvenating dip in the pool to beat the heat before dinner was served. The remainder of the evening was spent recollecting the day's highlights and unwinding in leisure.
Today, we dedicated our entire day to exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve, established in 1961 as a wildlife sanctuary. Encompassing an expansive area of 1510 square kilometers, this game reserve serves as the habitat for numerous herbivores and their predators.
Renowned for its spectacular elephant and buffalo herds, as well as its vast population of wildebeest, the reserve is a treasure trove of wildlife. Each year, over a million wildebeest migrate north from July to October, often accompanied by other hoofed animals such as Thompson's gazelles, zebras, topi, and eland. The Great Migration, as it is known, is a natural spectacle that also attracts big cats like lions and leopards, creating an unforgettable sight.
Following our exhilarating safari in the Masai Mara, we returned to our luxurious lodge for a delightful dinner and one final overnight stay.
We journey back to Nairobi by road, offering the option to fly at an additional cost. Upon our return, we savor a meal at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant, renowned for its diverse selection of dishes, including ostrich, crocodile, vegetarian options, and salads.
