Itinerary
You'll have an early morning departure from Arusha. We will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha and head toward Tarangire National Park—a journey of approximately 130 km through the vibrant landscapes of northern Tanzania.
Upon arrival, you'll dive straight into an exciting full-day game drive, exploring Tarangire’s iconic wilderness. Renowned for its towering baobab trees and massive herds of elephants, the park also offers fantastic sightings of lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, buffalo, and an incredible variety of birds. Your guide will navigate through the park’s diverse terrain, from open savannahs to riverine woodlands, maximizing your chances of spotting wildlife in their natural habitat.
Midday, you'll enjoy a hot lunch served inside the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. In the afternoon, you'll continue your adventure with more wildlife viewing and opportunities for safari photography, especially during the golden hours before sunset.

You'll wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your campsite before departing for the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s remarkable natural wonders. The drive from Tarangire to Ngorongoro is approximately 79 km, taking you through scenic highlands and Maasai villages along the way.
Upon arrival, you'll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a sanctuary for an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Accompanied by your expert guide, you’ll embark on a 5 to 6-hour game drive across the crater floor, traversing diverse habitats such as open grasslands, acacia forests, and freshwater lakes.
Around midday, you'll enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site, often near a hippo pool, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the crater.
You’ll arrive at the Arusha hotel by late afternoon, for the preparation for the next day's Materuni Waterfalls hike and coffee tour experience.
