Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will brief you on your upcoming adventure. You’ll then transfer to your accommodation in Kampala for an overnight stay. Your overnight stay will be at Makerere University Guest House (or similar).

After breakfast, you'll begin your cultural immersion with a guided visit to Katanga Slum, a unique and resilient community primarily composed of single mothers and children. Later, explore Uganda’s rich heritage with visits to the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Royal Tombs, and Lubiri Palace. Your overnight stay will be at Makerere University Guest House (or similar).

You'll depart early for Jinja and take on the thrilling Grade 3–5 rapids of the Nile River with professional rafting guides. You'll gain profound insight into Northern Uganda’s post-conflict recovery with visits to NGOs working with former child soldiers. You'll hear firsthand stories of survival, reintegration, and resilience. Later, you'll visit the Barlonyo Massacre Memorial, where over 300 civilians lost their lives in 2004. Following a morning breakfast, you'll travel to Gulu and visit the Lukodi Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, the site of a 2004 massacre by the Lord’s Resistance Army. You'll learn about the lives of survivors and ongoing peace-building efforts. Your overnight stay will be at Acholi Inn (or similar).

Following a morning breakfast, you'll drive to Murchison Falls National Park via the scenic Porongo Gate. You'll enjoy the wildlife viewing as you go to Paraa. Upon arrival at Paraa, you'll enjoy a boat cruise to the base of the dramatic falls. Later, you'll transfer to the lodge. Your overnight stay will be at Gipir & Labongo Safari Lodge (or similar).
