Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will brief you on your upcoming adventure. You’ll then transfer to your accommodation in Kampala for an overnight stay. Your overnight stay will be at Makerere University Guest House (or similar).

After breakfast, you'll begin your cultural immersion with a guided visit to Katanga Slum, a unique and resilient community primarily composed of single mothers and children. You'll depart early for Jinja and take on the thrilling Grade 3–5 rapids of the Nile River with professional rafting guides. You'll gain profound insight into Northern Uganda’s post-conflict recovery with visits to NGOs working with former child soldiers. Following a morning breakfast, you'll travel to Gulu and visit the Lukodi Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, the site of a 2004 massacre by the Lord’s Resistance Army. Following a morning breakfast, you'll drive to Murchison Falls National Park via the scenic Porongo Gate. You'll enjoy the wildlife viewing as you go to Paraa. Upon arrival at Paraa, you'll enjoy a boat cruise to the base of the dramatic falls. Later, you'll transfer to the lodge. Your overnight stay will be at Gipir & Labongo Safari Lodge (or similar).
