3-Day Akagera National Park Safari Rwanda

Your Kafu Safaris Guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and share a short briefing. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kigali through Rwanda's rolling green hills, passing traditional villages en route to the national park. Upon arrival, you'll check in to the luxurious Mantis Akagera Game Lodge, perfectly situated on the shores of Lake Ihema with stunning water views.

After a delicious lunch blending international and Rwandan flavors, you'll set out on your first short game drive through the park's wildlife-rich southern sector. Keep your camera ready for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo roaming the savannah.

As afternoon fades to evening, you'll embark on a sunset boat cruise across Lake Ihema's glassy waters. Watch for hippos surfacing, crocodiles basking, and colorful waterbirds including the elusive shoebill stork.

Your morning exploration focuses on Akagera's southern sector, renowned for its high concentrations of wildlife. As you venture deeper into the park, you'll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint, surrounded by wilderness.
