Overview
The 3-day gorilla safari in Rwanda and Uganda takes you through two of East Africa’s most iconic primate destinations: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Volcanoes National Park.
This cross-border adventure begins and ends in Kigali, with convenient pick-up and drop-off at Kigali International Airport. The road journey from Kigali to Bwindi takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through scenic hills, rural landscapes, and border towns along the way.
The safari offers a rare opportunity to track mountain gorillas in Bwindi—home to nearly half of the world’s remaining population—and explore Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and volcanic scenery.
