3-Day Hwange National Park Luxury Safari

You will be picked up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and transferred to Hwange National Park, where you will check in at Khulu Bush Camp.

Upon arrival, you’ll settle into the camp before heading out on a welcome game drive through the park’s rich wilderness areas. This introductory safari offers your first opportunity to encounter the incredible wildlife that makes Hwange famous, including elephants, buffaloes, antelope, and possibly predators.

After dinner at the camp, the adventure continues with a unique elephant tracking experience by moonlight at 20:30 hrs. Guided through the African night, you’ll witness the bush come alive after dark while tracking elephants in their natural habitat under the stars—an unforgettable safari experience in Hwange National Park.

Wake up and enjoy breakfast at Khulu Bush Camp before departing for a visit to the Painted Dog Conservation sanctuary. Here, you’ll learn about the conservation efforts protecting the endangered African painted dogs and gain fascinating insight into these remarkable animals.

After the visit, continue into Hwange National Park for an exciting Jeep safari through one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves. The park is home to more than 100 mammal species and is especially famous for having one of the world’s largest elephant populations.

During the game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, and many other animals roaming freely across the diverse landscapes. Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the park’s more than 400 bird species.

Lunch will be served at a designated camping site inside Hwange National Park before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing adventure.

In the evening, return to Khulu Bush Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

On the final day, you will depart at 05:45 for a wrap-up game drive in Hwange National Park, giving you another opportunity to spot wildlife that may have been missed during previous safaris. The early morning hours are ideal for viewing active predators and animals gathering around the waterholes.

After approximately three hours in the bush, you will return to Khulu Bush Camp for breakfast and some time to refresh before departure.

At around 11:00, you will leave the lodge and travel through the BaNambya community for an enriching BaNambya Cultural Tour. During this visit, you will learn about local traditions, customs, and everyday life while gaining a deeper appreciation of Zimbabwean culture and heritage.

Following the cultural experience, you will continue your transfer to Victoria Falls Airport, where arrival is expected at approximately 18:00, concluding your memorable Zimbabwe safari adventure.
