The shuttle bus departs each day from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg at 7:00 am.

It’s a 5-6 hour drive from Johannesburg to Imbali Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. We will take the scenic route through the historic towns of the Panorama Route and to the town of Hoedspruit with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches.

Arrive at mid-day in the Mluwati Concession and book into Imbali Safari Lodge. Enjoy a light meal and freshen up before departing late in the afternoon for a game drive in an open safari vehicle. Enjoy sundowners at a special vantage point, before returning to the lodge after sunset.

Spend this glorious day relaxing at the camp; sandwiched between early morning and late afternoon game drives with sundowners at a special vantage point.

The safaris are conducted on the private Mluwati Concession with unlimited access to the public roads of the Kruger National Park. A professional game ranger and expert tracker will take you around in an open safari vehicle.

Have tea and coffee before you depart for the sunrise game drive. Enjoy a light informal brunch back at Imbali Safari Lodge and spend an afternoon of relaxation before departing for the evening game drive. Have sundowners at a special vantage point and a delicious 3-course dinner under the stars in the outdoor boma.

Wake up early for tea and coffee and then depart for a sunrise safari tour of the Mluwati Concession. Enjoy a light breakfast back at Imbali Safari Lodge before checking out of your chalet.

You’ll be driven to Hoedspruit mid-morning to catch the shuttle bus back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

Arrive in Johannesburg between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, depending on traffic.
