3-Day Nyungwe Forest National Park Tour

Your guide will pick you up and you will drive to Nyungwe National Park.

If you arrive after 2:00 pm, it is recommended to arrange an overnight stay in Kigali before continuing the journey.

On the way, you may pass through Butare (Huye) for a visit to the National Museum and Nyanza Royal Palace. Afterwards, continue to your accommodation for check-in and relaxation.

Start your day with an early morning chimpanzee tracking experience in Nyungwe National Park, one of East Africa’s oldest and richest rainforests.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to the scenic waterfalls or visit the Angolan black-and-white colobus monkeys. Nyungwe National Park is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, Angolan colobus monkeys, owl-faced monkeys, and many more, making it one of the most important primate habitats in Africa.
