3-Day Zambia Luxury Thrilling Kafue National Park Tour

Upon arrival in Zambia, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Kubwa Five Safaris guide at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (or another agreed location in Lusaka), holding a sign with your name for easy recognition. From there, enjoy a scenic transfer to Kafue National Park.

After lunch, set out on your first game drive in this vast, unspoiled wilderness. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even wild dogs, along with large herbivores such as elephants and buffalo.

As the day winds down, unwind on a serene sunset boat cruise along the Kafue River, soaking in the beauty of the landscape and wildlife from a different perspective.

After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive through the rich landscapes of Kafue National Park, heading toward the renowned Busanga Plains. This wildlife haven offers sightings of antelopes, elephants, zebras, and lions, with chances to spot rarer species such as red lechwe, sable antelope, African wild dogs, and even the elusive cheetah.

Continue toward Lake Itezhi-Tezhi, where hippos can be seen splashing in the water, while the surrounding wetlands and Busanga Swamp attract an impressive array of birdlife, including African finfoot, half-collared kingfishers, and African skimmers.

After some time to relax at the lodge, head out again in the late afternoon for an evening game drive. As the day cools, animals gather around waterholes formed by seasonal rivers, creating excellent opportunities to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and roaming packs of wild dogs.
