4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Tour

Your safari begins with an early morning pick up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. After a short briefing with your driver guide, you set off for the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley with beautiful viewpoints along the way.

You arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy a short rest before heading out for your first game drive across the open savannah. This exciting introduction to the Mara offers chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly lions in their natural habitat.

Return to your lodge before sunset for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

The reserve is home to the Big Five, along with cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. You may also visit the Mara River, famous for its hippos, crocodiles, and seasonal wildebeest crossings.

An optional visit to a Maasai village offers a glimpse into the local culture and traditions. Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in the bush.

After breakfast, you depart the Maasai Mara National Reserve and drive through scenic landscapes toward Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge overlooking the park.

In the afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive in Lake Nakuru, a jewel of the Great Rift Valley known for its flamingos, diverse birdlife, and sanctuary for endangered black and white rhinos. You may also spot Rothschild giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, and possibly leopards.

As the sun sets over the lake, return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.
