4-Day Roar of the South- Nyerere National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam in the morning and driven to Nyerere National Park. Along the way, there will be a short break, and the journey will take approximately four hours. Once you arrive, you will enjoy a village tour and experience a local dance called Ngoma. After the tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your morning by enjoying a cup of tea or coffee before heading out for a game drive. During this drive, you will have the opportunity to learn about various tracks, insects and animal bones while immersing yourself in nature. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many more. This park covers an expansive area of 50,000km² (19,305mi²). Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive where you can explore and observe various animals in their natural habitat, including the interactions between predators and their prey. Afterward, return for a hot lunch and some relaxation. Later, join a boat safari on the river until sunset, where you can admire large creatures like hippos, crocodiles and others along the riverbanks.
