After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your air transfer to Serengeti. Upon arrival in Serengeti, your guide will be at the airstrip waiting for you for a thrilling day of game drive in the central Serengeti. Central Serengeti is the heart of Serengeti National Park with great amount of wildlife throughout the year. The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai word “siringiti”, meaning “endless plains”. You will see why once you see its ocean of grassland savannas stretching to the horizon as far as your eye can see.

After breakfast return to the crater for another day of exciting game drive on the crater floor. This dramatic caldera is the inhabited by more than 25,0000 resident animals. The Crater is a unique ecosystem of grass steppe and Acacia Forest inhabited by the Big Five as well as zebra, hippo, wildebeest, cheetah, and many more. Later on, ascend the crater and proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today you will depart to a Maasai family for a small ceremony to celebrate your union. You will be dressed like a Maasai bride & groom before the ceremony starts. The ceremony includes a word of wisdom and blessings from one of the elders (the most respected man in the community). One of the Maasai warriors will slaughter a sheep/goat for a barbeque party. Singing and dancing is part of Maasai culture and this will definitely be one of the greatest memories you will share as husband and wife! Later you will leave the village in time for your flight home.
