Take a game drive in this zone in the evening and, for some reason, you do not feel fear when large predators are nearby. The most exciting one is standing the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the plains of Serengeti trek across the border and rivers into the Mara’s grasslands from June. They move from one point to another and they are followed by hunters and surrounded by vultures as the story progresses. Return for dinner and spend your night on a full board basis excluding beverages.

This trip tours you through the Maasai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti Plains of Tanzania, introducing you to the largest herds of wildebeests, Zein-gazelles, moving across this dangerous terrain in the search for pasturelands. The most enthralling aspect of this experience is the migration itself, especially when the herd has to cross major features such as the Mara and Grumeti River, where lions, cheetahs and crocodiles lay in ambush for a prey.
The recommended time to visit the 6-Day Migration Crossing Kenya & Tanzania is between July and October. This is the time when the herds of wildebeests migrate from Serengeti plains of Tanzania to Maasai mara of Kenya crossing the Mara River in a survival drama. This window offers the highest probabilities of observing exciting river crossings and predation events. However, migration is a circular phenomena and although the above mentioned are specified seasons, other seasons like calving in Serengeti from January to March can be an equally good time for wildlife watching.
In 6 Day Migration Crossing Kenya & Tanzania, tour companies, tourists will see huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles struggle to cross the vast savannahs. Besides the moving herds, there are the popular big five awesome animals including lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. Other wildlife includes cheetahs, hyenas, crocodiles and other reptiles which you can find along the River crossings, as well as various species of birds and many others. It is also a good chance to see intense action such as hunting from lions and other big cats whenever chasing herds of animals migrate during the wet season.
The 6 Day Migration Crossing Kenya & Tanzania tour has a variety of accommodation ranging from; luxury lodges and tented camps, medium range accommodation and budget accommodation. Because most of the popular game reserves are along the path of the migration circuits, many of the safari lodges and camps offer clients front-row seats to the wildebeest action. However, one has to note that long game drives on poor roads can be tiring and therefore one must ensure that they take water along and wear comfortable clothes. If you have particular accessibility issues, most of the lodges and travel companies will be able to arrange for adjustments to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
When packing for the 6-Day Migration Crossing Kenya & Tanzania, it is essential to be as comfortable, protected and practical as possible. Other items commonly recommended include a T-shirt and pants in light/breezy fabric in earth colors, a windbreaker or jacket as mornings can be cold, a hat preferably wide-brimmed, sunglasses and sunscreen. Comfortable and firm shoes are ideal for the bush, while carrying with you binoculars will make it easier to observe wildlife.
