Itinerary
A driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer you to Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha, located about 55 kilometers away. On a clear day, enjoy stunning views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru along the way. Arusha, known for its pleasant tropical climate, is a bustling city with an estimated population of 5 million, serving as a gateway to many of Tanzania’s renowned national parks and safari adventures.

Upon arrival, meet your local guide who will lead you to visit the Hadzabe people one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Experience their traditional lifestyle, including a rare opportunity to join them on a bushwalk and hunting expedition for small game such as squirrels and baboons, using handmade bows and arrows. Later, visit the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths and farmers, to learn about their unique customs, crafts, and way of life. This immersive cultural experience offers deep insight into Tanzania’s indigenous heritage. In the evening, head to Eyasi Datoga Campsite for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the tranquility of the Eyasi landscape.

En route, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai Village at an additional cost, offering a unique cultural experience. Arrive at the park by noon and enjoy your packed lunch at the entrance or picnic site. Continue with an afternoon game drive in the Seronera area, the heart of Central Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife and predator sightings. Begin your day with an early morning game drive from 6 AM to 11 AM in the Central Serengeti, a prime time to witness predators in action and wildlife stirring in the cool morning hours. Return to Seronera Camp for a warm brunch and some rest. By 12 PM, start your scenic drive toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying an en route game drive through the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes and wildlife-rich corridors. Keep your camera ready for any final sightings as you exit the park. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area by late afternoon, reaching Simba Camp around 5 PM. Located on the crater rim at 2,700 meters above sea level, the camp offers breathtaking views and a cool, refreshing climate. Enjoy an early breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6 AM with packed lunches for a half-day game drive in one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations in Africa.
