Itinerary
A driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer you to Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha, located about 55 kilometers away. On a clear day, enjoy stunning views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru along the way. Arusha, known for its pleasant tropical climate, is a bustling city with an estimated population of 5 million, serving as a gateway to many of Tanzania’s renowned national parks and safari adventures.

Experience their traditional lifestyle, including a rare opportunity to join them on a bushwalk and hunting expedition for small game such as squirrels and baboons, using handmade bows and arrows. Later, visit the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths and farmers, to learn about their unique customs, crafts, and way of life.
