Itinerary
Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport or your hotel in Dar es Salaam, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a representative from Obag Safari & Beach. From there, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, where your adventure begins.
Upon reaching the park, you’ll enjoy your first taste of the wild with an en-route game drive as you head toward your lodge.
You’ll spend the night at Tan Swiss Lodge, preparing for a full day of safari exploration ahead.

Early morning after breakfast, you will depart to Mikumi National Park which is an unspoilt paradise and is best known for its buffalo herds. The park’s vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah and open areas. On your exploration of the park, you may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, and if you are lucky; lions hunting. After lunch and an extensive game drive, you will head for your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, you will depart for Ruaha National Park. The Ruaha is spectacular. It is famous for a high population of lions which allows for excellent sightings of other wildlife. The Ruaha is one of Tanzania’s famous national parks because of its different attractions. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years. While the Ruaha boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its annual migration. Vast numbers of buffaloes accompanied by other numbers of animals move, constantly seeking fresh grazing. After lunch and an extensive game drive, you will head for our campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, you will continue with your en-route drive inside the Ruaha National Park before you depart to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. When you first see Udzungwa Waterfalls, it looks like a forgotten paradise cold and quiet. You'll proceed with the journey and enjoy the view with a super jeep.
On arrival at your accommodation in the late evening, you will have our dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
