Itinerary
Upon arrival, you'll be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. If time allows, you'll enjoy an optional city tour to explore Arusha and get a glimpse of Tanzania’s culture and history. In the evening, you’ll receive a detailed briefing about your upcoming safari, helping you prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

After an early breakfast, you'll depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, carrying a packed lunch for the day. Famous for having one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world, Tarangire is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, especially during breeding season when plumage is at its brightest. The park teems with wildlife, especially in the dry season, when animals gather around the life-giving Tarangire River. Keep your eyes open for big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as rare species such as kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. You'll also spot large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles, closely followed by predators on the hunt. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
