Other animals you will likely see here are leopards, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles and of course, the red-dusted elephants in Tsavo. These months are particularly good for wildlife sightings since many animals congregate around water sources in Amboseli and Tsavo. The roads are also less congested; therefore, travelling becomes easier. The best time to make a trip to Diani Beach is any time of the year since it is always warm and perfect for beach and water activities, but if you want nothing but a beautiful sunny day on the beach and traces of waves, then it is better to visit in the dry season.

Apart from game drives to both Amboseli and Tsavo, other activities include nature walks, cultural visits to the nearby Maasai villages, and bird watching. Some things that can be done in Tsavo include visiting Mzima Springs, which hosts hippos and crocodiles. Some of the activities that can be found in Diani Beach include snorkeling, deep- sea fishing, kite surfing, the traditional boat ride known as dhow sailing, and observing dolphins. This way, the combined safari and beach experience offers a nicely balanced and truly great experience.
